Tundla railway station is main station between Ghaziabad-Kanpur section in North Central railway. It is also a technical halt for Crew (Loco Pilot & Train Manager) changes between Delhi - Kanpur Central for most of the Train.
Earlier this was part of Northern Railway. At the of opening It was a town of Agra. It was a major junction point to connecting Tundla - Agra Railway line. It has a rich heritage of British rule. High walled British constructions, huge barracks, a Catholic church built in 1860 & main center of British administration. These British buildings have been converted into railway quarters. Tundla also have a NR College which was also made by the British for their training purposes.
Raj Babbar one of the Bollywood well known actor was born in Tundla. his father was in India railway.
